MGI carries out a rigorous audit of the port or airport community that will be equipped with the Cargo Community System, according to its own strict methodology.
MGI carries out a rigorous audit of the port or airport community that will be equipped with the Cargo Community System, according to its own strict methodology MGI applies a methodology of optimisation of the community’s profession-related processes.
Four phases:
- Description of the current functioning by interviewing the professionals in the field: inventory of the tasks, cargo transhipments, the responsibilities of each individual and information exchanges
- Description of the proposals for optimisation of the import and export processes with a record of the shortcomings or improvements
- Study of the adequacy of the Cargo Community System for the needs noted in terms of computerisation
- Study of the needs in terms of interfaces between the Cargo Community System and the private computer systems of the different stakeholders
Functionalities that are specific to the community which are not covered by the Cargo Community System are developed according to the MGI process analysis and optimisation methodology.
The audit ensures the successful implementation of the Cargo Community System.
